Mountain peaks in the Mexican state of Baja California Norte and Sur with greater than 2000 feet of prominence. The list is arranged from north to south with the first peak (BJ00) being closest to the U.S. border. Research done by Edward Earl and Andy Martin with UTM data added by Richard Carey.
Key to Column Headings:
ID = A sequential numbering of the peaks. Location = In which Mexican state the peak is in. Highpoint = Lists a peak that is a Range or State highpoint Also, IS HPT is an island highpoint. Peak Name = The name as shown on the topo map. A PXXXX m is shown if the summit is not named. Names in parentheses are alternate names for the peak or names of Ranges the peak is in to help locate it. Prom = The prominence measure of the peak in feet. EL,ft = Elevation in feet. EL,m = Elevation in meters. UTM, E = The easting coordinate in meters. UTM,N = The northing coordinate in meters. Zone = The UTM zone. Topo Map = Name of the 1:50K map. Map ID = The identifier for the map.
