| Red Hill is an easy hike in the southern part of Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. It is west of highway S2 about 9 miles north of the town of Ocotillo. You can park along the broad shoulder near milepost 52 to 53. The hiking route is shown on the above map which has a UTM grid using NAD27 in Zone 11. The hike is 3.4 miles round-trip with a gain of about 700 feet.
