The Wagontire Mountain lookout is in great condition. It may be staffed during periods of fire danger. It was not staffed when I visited. The lookout was built in 1967 and is #954 on the National Historic Lookout Register. Photo July 22, 2017.
A modern solar toilet is at the site.
