| Berray Mountain has a 30 ft. timber tower with an R-6 style wood cab which is 15 ft. square. This tower was built in 1965 and replaced a 50 ft. pole-type L-4 tower built in 1940. Photo on August 17, 2015. The lookout has been staffed only occasionally since the 1970's. The mountain burned over the day before our visit. This lookout is on the National Historic Lookout Register #181. | ||||||||
