Some concrete footings are all that remain in this area at the summit of Baldy Mountain. This might have been the area where there were timber towers. A 20 ft. high tower was built in 1949 and then replaced with a 30 ft. tower in 1979. These were gone by 1990. Photo on July 12, 2016.
To the west of the above photo is this rock platform which might have been the foundation for a D-6 cupola cabin built in 1928. No benchmarks were found, but there is a datasheet: SU0971
