Located in the Kaniksu National Forest

Saddle Mountain has a 45 ft. steel tower with a 7 ft. cab constructed in 1935. The tower was abandoned for fire detection in 1967 and has become a radio repeater site. Photo on August 14, 2020. This lookout is on the National Historic Lookout Register #1472.
This cabin just north of the tower was probably built in 1935.
This is the only benchmark found near the tower and may be the one called Saddle Reset. Datasheet: TO1109
