| The concrete footings are all that remain of the lookout. The structure was a 60ft. Aeromotor tower with a 7ft. square cab built in 1935. It was removed in 1973. The Former Fire Lookout Sites Register has a photo of the tower taken in 1938. This photo taken May 19, 2022. US1847
A benchmark Thomas is located about 1/4 mile north of the lookout. A search was made but no disk could be found. Datasheet: DX5172 |
