| Shadequarter is on a peak in the western, lower foothills of the Sierra Nevada south of Pinehurst. Most of the land around the lookout is private property. | ||||||

| The northeast side which is in better shape. Badger Fire Station checks on the structure and attempts to keep it from deteriorating any further. The building is used as a radio repeater site. Shadequarter BM is SW along the ridge. | ||||||
