| Only a small concrete footing remains of this lookout which was originally built as a National Defense Observation Tower during World War II. It was manned from 1939 to 1973. The lookout was on a west facing ledge 0.8 mile west of Pinecrest Peak. This view is looking west and was taken on September 18, 2011. | |||||
