| There is no sign that there was a fire lookout on top of Magee Peak. The fire lookout index by Thornton indicates there was a building here in the 1920's. There is a USGS datasheet for the lookout house, but it has no information. Datasheet: LT0743. Photo taken in August 2003. There is a good trail to the top and many climbers stop here on the way to Crater Peak. | ||||||
