The delapidated Kettenpom Lookout sets in a rocky outcrop and is reached by road and trail. This structure was built in 1936.

Update: This lookout was destroyed by the August Complex fire that burned over one million acres in the Coast Range of Northern California from August to November in 2020.
The benchmark disk is located on a rock southeast of the building and is higher than ground level at the lookout. It was placed in 1961. Datasheet
