| Butler Peak Lookout is in a spectacular location on a rock outcrop on the highest part of the peak. This structure, a 14 foot square cab, was built by the CCC in 1931. The tower is on the National Historic Lookout Register #292. It is staffed by volunteers during the summer months from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Photo by John Robinson in 1991. | ||||||
