Baker Point Lookout, Tulare County, California

Located in Sequoia National Forest, Elevation 7760 feet

View of lookout facing south. The lookout tower was probably built in 1950. This is the second structure at the site, the first being built in 1942. The wooden cabin next to the lookout was the original living quarters built in 1943. The lookout has been closed since 1986. This lookout is on the National Historic Lookout Register #376.
